Stephanie's Update: January 2010

Happy New Year everyone!

Write a report on New Years Day? Uh...no. I would rather go and play outside in the snow!

However, here are a few photos to highlight the past year.

March 2009: I rescued a stray alley cat just as she was going into labor and watched a miracle unfold as four beautiful kittens came into the world!

MAY 2009: I took a nap in a rental car. Denver, Colorado

May 2009: My friend Carmen and I visit the Great Sand Dune National Monument in Colorado on our way to Telluride.

May 2009: Chose a new hotel for this years Moutainfilm event and WOW is all I can say. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. Fireplace, gourmet breakfast, gym, spa services, great views and Aveda products!

Summer 2009: Bought some new mountaineering toys at Neptune Mountaineering during my trip to Boulder, Colorado.

September 2009: Tripped over a broken piece of pottery and almost took my little toe off. Cut so deep it didn't hurt. I now have a summit and a "false summit" on my healed toe. But I won't make you look at that.

September 2009: Attended a convention in Orlando, Florida. Rosen Shingle Creek Resort...very nice!

December 2009: Enjoyed the Christmas spirit on Western Avenue

Christmas Eve Day 2009: Finally I have the city all to myself. It only took a serious winter storm to get everyone off the road.

Looking ahead : Booked and ready for my 3rd trip to Nepal and Everest Base Camp next October! Can't wait!
